My name is Abby Benton, and I am a junior marketing major at William Peace University where I am currently on the Women’s Volleyball Team. I transferred in Fall of 2019 from Catawba College in Salisbury, N.C. Playing college volleyball at two different institutions, I have really experienced the student-athlete in varying aspects.
I have been playing volleyball for over 12 years. My hometown is Gainesville, Florida, where the University of Florida is. Growing up in a college town, I fell in love with watching college sports, and I knew that I wanted to eventually play in college someday.
